Ischia Porto: The heart of shopping and nightlife is about 1.5 km away, reachable in a few minutes by car or with a pleasant 18-minute walk.
Beaches: Convento Beach and our partner beach clubs are roughly 1 km away, easily accessible thanks to our complimentary shuttle service (available during the summer months).
Attractions: In just a short time, you can reach La Mortella Gardens, Negombo Park, and the majestic Aragonese Castle.
How to get to the island
By Train: Arrive at Naples Centrale or Naples Mergellina station. From there, you can reach the piers of Molo Beverello (for hydrofoils) or Calata Porta di Massa (for ferries) by taxi or metro.
By Plane: From Naples Capodichino Airport, take the Alibus shuttle, which takes you directly to the boarding piers at the Port of Naples in about 20-30 minutes.
By Car: Head to the Port of Naples (Calata Porta di Massa) or, more conveniently, the Port of Pozzuoli (the closest port to the island and often more economical for car boarding), and take a ferry to Ischia Porto or Casamicciola.
A tip for our guests: Once you arrive on Ischia, remember that the port of Casamicciola Terme is the closest one to Il Grifo Hotel.
How to reach the hotel
By Ferry or Hydrofoil:
From the Port of Casamicciola (Recommended): The hotel is approximately a 5-minute drive or taxi ride away. This is the closest and most convenient arrival point.
From Ischia Porto: The hotel can be reached in about 8-10 minutes by taxi or bus.
By Bus: From the main bus stations in Ischia Porto or Casamicciola, you can take the circular lines (CD or CS). The bus stop is located just a short distance from the hotel entrance on the main road.
